Our sport, Rally, has again experienced the painful experience of rising fuel prices. It has simply become too expensive to put on quality events, and then have poor competitive attendance.

This website will remain available, as our host is providing access at relatively no cost (Thank You!).

There is a group of "diehard" Tropical people that still meet to discuss the future of Tropical, and keep the spirit alive. The monthly meeting place (see below) is still used and guests are welcome. It would be advisable to contact one of the active members to confirm a given meeting.

Florida Solar Energy Center, SunDay Challenge, October 2007, was supported by Tropical and it's members, Bob & Pat Ricker as Rallymasters, and Ric Goldtrap providing Timing & Scoring on the day of the event.

Primarily solar, battery & alternative fuel powered vehicles competed along a timed, rally course. The event concluded at the Florida Institute of Technology, where all vehicles 2 & 4 wheeled, were on display.

 The general purpose of the club is to encourage the preservation, ownership, and operation of Sports Cars, to act as a source of technical information, to establish rules and regulations covering all the activities of the club, to provide and regulate events and exhibitions for Sports Cars and their owners, and to encourage careful and skillful driving on the public highways.

Tropical Sports Car Club (TSCC) primarily promotes Time - Speed - Distance Road Rallies throughout South Florida. Most events occur in the Tri-county area Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.

Meetings Notice: Guests always welcome!
Tropical Sports Car Club meets the last Tuesday of the month (except December) at the Denny's Restaurant on US 1, just south of 10th Street, on the west side of US 1, Deerfield Beach, FL. 

Exit I-95 at the 10ST Exit and go east to US1. Turn RIGHT on US1 and then an almost immediate RIGHT into the parking lot for Denny's.

Meetings start at 8:00 PM. Come early, join us for dinner!
